The Spot To Be

This pricey gem has quickly become one of my favorites

After our Physique 57 class, Caroline introduced Halle and me to the UWS’s Juice Press. On a Saturday morning, this cozy juice, smoothie, and organic food spot was understandably packed, they really do have everything a health nut could ever want or need. From green juices to salads and gazpachos it’s really one (expensive) stop shopping and definitely became our go to spot during our visit.

Added bonus, their products have the shortest shelf life, meaning they remove their juice and food from the shelves pre-maturely to guarantee freshness. Sounds pretty great to me!

Here Comes The Bride

The blushing bride-to-be in a sea of wild flowers

My close friend Halle and I hosted a bridal shower for our dear friend (and bride-to-be!) Tarryn at ABC Kitchen in NYC this past weekend. We had such a blast putting together the special details and showering the bride with love. We can’t wait to continue the celebration later this month!

We had acrylic framed pictures of the happy couple with loving quotes from the groom on the back

The sweetest.

Headed to the city

Happy Friday! I’m so looking forward to getting to Manhattan for a weekend filled with catching up with dear friends, cocktails + great food, and celebrating the beautiful bride-to-be! More to come on our NYC adventure next week.

Hidden Gem : Hojoko

Besides a few local favorites (Sweet Cheeks and Audubon to name a few), I usually don’t think to head to Fenway to check out new restaurants. This time is different, I’ve heard great things are to be expected from Tim and Nancy Cushman (founders of O Ya) and their latest venture Hojoko. This high-energy, rock and roll themed Japanese gastropub will be opening next month and I’m looking forward to checking out the scene and taste testing their Crispy Maitake Tempura roll complete with miso truffle sauce. YUM!

Summer Highlight

Couldn’t possibly love these people any more

A few weekends ago we hopped on a quick 25 minute flight to visit our dear friends in Nantucket aka paradise. Our days were filled with endless beach time, funny stories and spiked lemonade. Our nights were made special with delicious seafood, glasses of rosé, and late night walks + chats. We created many fond memories I’ll always cherish. I can’t wait to get back on the island with these three again very soon!

P.S. : How awesome is this Jeep they rented?! Amazing.
