Home Tour : Brooklyn Heights

Think it’s obvious for our next home, I’m focused on the cozy factor. Although that couch doesn’t look too appealing, the warm colors make up for it.

Confession : I have a huge girl crush on gp. You know who I’m talking about … Married to Coldplay rocker, mother of Apple, founder of goop. Gwyneth Paltrow, duh! I’m also an avid follower of her new goop magazine and that’s naturally where I found my next interiors inspiration. Although this apartment is the epitome of understated, I still think it’s fabulous nonetheless.

Nice detail shot of the living room.

I like the way books add a lot of personality to a room.

The rugs compliments the simplicity of the kitchen perfectly. I’m dining for a nice kitchen island and a social spot for people to eat in the kitchen.

Great rug/sofa combo. We’re in desperate need of a comfortable sofa that easily fits a few people.

His and her workspace. Each room seems so naturally styled. It seems like each room was designed around the various gorgeous rugs. Love that!

I wanted to take a minute to thank the FBI, BPD, and the other generous men and women around Watertown and Boston for their hard work and effort in catching the second suspect from Monday’s marathon bombing. You’ve assisted greatly in making this outstanding city feel safe again. You’re truly our heroes!

I agree that books add a lot of personality! To me they make a home feel complete. Have you seen the book Decorating with Books (I think that’s the title)? I think you would love it! xo
