Being originally from Georgia, I knew that by making one quick phone call to my mother, I’d have all the information needed to create a foolproof peach cobbler… and I was correct! I ended up making a few minor changes only because I thought the amount of white & brown sugar added may lead to diabetes. Before Labor Day arrives, take a moment to whip up my version of this simple + quick peach cobbler recipe!

Must have :

 2/3 c of flour

 dash of salt

 2 t of baking powder

 2/3 c of whole milk

 3/4 c of brown sugar

 3/4 stick of butter (melted)

Now begin :

Preheat oven to 350 + peel peaches

Melt butter in bottom of a baking dish

Separate bowl mix flour, salt, baking powder, whole milk, brown sugar

Pour mixture over butter, but do not mix together

Place peeled peach slices on top of the mixture

Bake in the oven for 45-55 minutes

Next time around, I’d serve this delicious dessert in a cone (like my pinned image above) with a small scoop of vanilla ice cream on top + drizzle of caramel. Perfect for a humid summer evening!

Hopefully this sweet recipe was just the thing you needed to start your Monday off well. I’m starting my week off by gilding silk leaves (so excited) … Find out why later this week.

Tune in tonight to see the premiere of Gallery Girls on Bravo @ 10 pm, if only for a good laugh!

I love how you tweaked the recipe and made it your own. We can call this version the “healthy girl” peach cobbler! I am dying to try it in the cone. Lots of layers of summertime goodness.
