Sleep. Stroll. Sip : Savannah

It was a lot of fun putting together a Sleep. Stroll. Sip. on my hometown Savannah, Georgia. Since I have so many fun recommendations for hotels, shops, and restaurants I thought it made the most sense to create more of a lengthy list of my musts when visiting this quaint Southern city.

Although I haven’t stayed at many of the hotels in Savannah, I think The Bohemian is a really strong choice with lux rooms. Make sure you visit the roof top for beautiful views of the cityscape. The downtown area is also filled with cute Bed & Breakfast options too!

When perusing Broughton Street, check out 24e, The Paris Market, Copper Penny, James Gunn, Terra Cotta, and Leopold’s Ice Cream.

Take a walk around Forsyth Park and enjoy a cocktail at Mansion. If you’re an architecture fan, take time to visit the squares and admire the beautiful Southern historic homes.

Looking to get out of the downtown area for a bit, the adorable BleuBelle Boutique, is a fun spot to do some retail therapy (with a fancy shoe store next store!) and don’t forget to grab a delicious cupcake at Gigi’s across the street.

When in town, I try to have lunch at Cafe 37 and Arches at The Olde Pink House.

I’d recommend Elizabeth on 37th, Local 1110, Circa 1875, and Garibaldi Cafe for delicious dinner choices. For a great cocktail, visit The Public. I thought the ambience was really unique and creative.
