I recently stumbled upon a new favorite photographer … Steve Back. These gorgeous aerial shots are taken over three years in remote parts of Australia. I love the richness of colour and ambiguous nature of his shots.
While reading about the artist on Vogue Living’s blog (a must bookmark!), I learned that the photos with the bright pink are aerial shots of the foreshore of Hutt Lagoon located in Western Australia. FYI, Beta Carotene is what creates the rich pink (how beautiful!?!).
I’m currently mesmerized by these images and am itching to use them in a project in the near future. Check out the rest of Steve Back’s portfolio, you won’t be disappointed!
