Clothing + accessories designer Sophie Hulme has found a classic, yet current way to combine buttery leather and simple metal details. I really like how she blends just the right amount of masculine and feminine qualities. Her creations come to life through her personal experiences and unique surroundings (she lives in a converted toy factory … how cool!?).  This lady has some serious talent!

I’ve noticed recently I’ve been drawn to sculpturally interesting bags lately. Think I may need to save my pennies and add one of Hulme’s pieces to my purse collection in the near future.
